-
Many Gods, especially Hermes, and Athena assisted Perseus during his quest
-
They supplied him with a bag to carry Medusa's head, winged sandals that allowed him to fly, and a helmet that made him invisible
-
-
When he finally found Medusa, he used his supplies to cut off her head and promptly placed her head in the bag
-
Perseus rescued Andromeda from a sea monster on his way home
-
They instantly fell in love and were married
-
-
When Perseus returned home, he killed Polydectes by showing him Medusa's face
-
As for Arcisius, he attended a sporting event held by another king
-
Perseus was participating in the same event and accidentaly killed Arcisius when his discus went off-course
